Safety Information / Warning
Do not take more than 16tablets or 80mL during a 24-hour period. Do not take for more than 2weeks or if symptoms recur, unless directed by a physician. Do not take if you suffer from kidney disease except on your physician's advice. Do not take within 2hours of another medicine, because the effectiveness of the other medicine may be altered. Antacids can interfere with the absorption of iron preparations and/or tetracyclines.

Symptoms: In the presence of renal insufficiency, accumulation of magnesium in circulation may cause CNS depression. Chronic ingestion may lead to phosphorus deficiency in presence of low phosphorus diet.

Recommended Dosage
Adults: 10to 20mL of suspension or 2to4tablets or caplets taken 4times daily as needed between meals and at bedtime or as directed by the physician.

Caplets: Each light blue, oval, convex, beveled edged, opaque, film-coated, mint-flavored caplet, plain on one side, intagliated DIOVOL on the other, contains: dried aluminum hydroxide gel 200mg and magnesium hydroxide 200mg. Nonmedicinal ingredients: alumina, cellulose, cornstarch, FD&C Blue No.2, FD&C Red No.3, flavor, gelatin, glycerin, magnesium stearate, propylene glycol and titanium dioxide. Energy: 0.83kJ (<0.2kcal). Gluten-, sucrose- and tartrazine-free. Boxes of10and 50 in push-through format.
